Canter safari in Corbett National Park offers a far more enjoyable 5 hour ride inside the Dhikala Zone, giving you an excellent opportunity to discover the unrivalled wildlife of this wildest zone. The intense safari experience increases the likelihood of seeing the Royal Bengal Tiger in its natural habitat. Only two canters can enter the park at the same time, and each canter seats 16 tourists. A professional biologist and a forest gunman lead the safari.
When lodging outside of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, the Dhikala Canter Safari is the ideal method to experience the forest, as daytime gipsy tours are not allowed in the Dhikala zone. However, you may reach this location via canter, which seats 18 persons and departs from Ramnagar in the morning and afternoon. Whichever canter travelled to Dhikala in the morning returns to the base in the afternoon, and similarly, the afternoon canter returns to the base in the evening. These tours are known as Ramganga guided tours and are approved by the Corbett Tiger Reserve.
